About the Apprenticeship :

This is an exciting role for a candidate who is looking to get a foot in the door in marketing and administration. You will work with a great team within the organisation as well as gaining valuable experience in marketing and business administration.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • To be the first point of contact on the telephones (landline and mobile)
  • To greet and welcome all Rich Visions visitors, ensuring hospitality is offered
  • To manage the day to day operation of the company and ensure administration services are of high quality standards ensuring confidentiality is met always
  • To show good practice, quality assurance and business effectiveness and have excellent time management and organisational skills
  • To assist with the internal CRM/database
  • To assist with internal events and campaigns

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

Administration duties

 

  • Assist with day-to-day operations
  • Assist with CRM systems calling clients for data entry purposes
  • Ensure filling system is up to date
  • Taking telephone messages and monitor call logs
  • Book staff outings, meetings and birthdays presentations
  • Set up meetings and manage managers diary
  • Order office stationary, refreshments and equipment
  • To manage supplier invoices and our own sales invoices
  • To be responsible for petty cash of all projects
  • Ensure stationary cupboard is stocked and items are not missing
  • Making call to clients checking to see if they are happy with the services we deliver
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Meet, greet, register and serve clients
  • Book meeting rooms
  • Assist with any first aid or internal procedures for staff/team
  • Photocopying and minute taking
  • Assist with research of relevant information
  • Carry out such other duties as may be required from time to time

 

Marketing duties

 

  • Assist to developing our marketing plans
  • Assist to generate new leads through social networking marketing, managing and increasing our Digital Marketing and Social Media presence
  • Update our website (using word press)
  • Assist in writing blog posts
  • Updating our client database (CRM system)
  • General office support to Sales and Marketing teams
  • Working on new creative concepts that will help attract new clients on and off line
  • Any other duties appropriate to the job role.

Weekly Wage:

£200/ week

Working Week:

9am to 5pm (flexi time available)

 

Monday to Friday

Future prospects description:

Upon completion of the Apprenticeship and evaluation by the company’s supervisors, the successful candidate may be offered a job at the end of the Apprenticeship.

Skills required:

  • 6 months- 1 year administrative experience
  • To be able to meet target deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative on occasions
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and cope with frequent interruptions
  • Excellent IT skills, Excel and Word in particular

Personal Qualities:

  • Willingness to learn
  • A “can do”attitude”
  • Ability to work on own initiative on occasion
  • Strong interpersonal skill

 

Qualifications Required:

Minimum qualifications are English, Maths and ICT GSCE’s level A-C or equivalent.

Graduates can apply but a degree not necessary nor will it give you an advantage. Common sense, a good attitude and a strong application are what we are looking for.

About the training:

You will be working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration.  In addition to crucial ‘on the job training’ depending on the qualification selected you may also study the following units:

 

  • Principles of Business
  • Analyse and present business data
  • Principles of Project Management
  • Managing Information and Producing Documents in a Business
  • Monitor Information systems
  • Principles of Administration
