We’re looking for an experienced Curriculum Manager to join our training team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of our apprenticeship training programmes across the areas of Digital Marketing and Business and Professional Administration with a focus on supporting employers and apprentices within the creative and digital sectors.

Our ideal candidate will have a positive ‘can do, will do’ approach together with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

The ideal candidate for this position will:
• Work with our Operations and training to team to plan and organise a programme of training in support of our apprenticeship programmes (including Maths, English and ICT training) to include a mixture of classroom and online delivery
• Identify new technology and methods that can be used by our training team and apprentices
• Plan and organise an annual programme of masterclasses delivered by industry experts
• Plan and organise an annual careers event for apprentices
• Effectively use and control budgets
• Ensure all lessons and training plans produced by the training team are in line with the requirements of the relevant apprenticeship standards, End Point Assessment Organisations and Awarding Bodies.
• Develop and implement a robust monitoring and evaluation process to ensure quality of teaching, learning and assessment that exceeds customer expectations
• Sample assessment activities, methods and records to monitor consistency of assessment decisions of our training team
• Maintain accurate and reliable internal verification and quality monitoring records and provide reports to management and stakeholders by required deadlines
• Undertake an active role in raising and disseminating issues of good practice, consistency and quality assurance in assessment practice.
• Lead on quarterly standardisation meetings
• Produce and distribute a quarterly calendar of training activity to apprentices and employer
• Ensure our e-learning systems are updated with training materials and e-learning sessions are booked onto webinar software
• Prepare reports and statistical information as required
• Work closely with Senior Management in the expansion of our apprenticeship offer

Requirements:
• Intimate knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and standards
• The ability to inspire others to learn and achieve their career ambitions
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a similar role
• At least 1 years’ apprenticeship assessing or coaching experience
• In possession, as a minimum, relevant Assessor qualifications (CAVA or equivalent) and the appropriate Internal Verification qualification.
• Relevant level 4 teaching qualification (e.g. PTTLS)
• Demonstrable passion for supporting individuals to realise their career ambitions
• Approachable and nurturing manner
• Proactive and client focussed
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written
• Time Management skills with the ability to work well in a responsive and pressured environment
• Ability to work with the minimum of supervision

The experience of working in the creative sector is advantageous, however, more important is the willingness to engage in training and networking to increase your understanding.

About the training:

Continued Professional Development (CPD) is an integral part of our team.  Staff regularly attend networking events, training session which are designed to increase their knowledge, understanding and skills.  You will be encouraged to undertake training as identified in your performance review, which will be documented in your personal CPD plan.
