About the Apprenticeship :

‘Behuli’ is a bridal and evening wear boutique owned by Sanyukta Shrestha a highly sought after multi-award-winning designer of bridal and evening wear who has featured in top fashion magazines such as Vogue Sposa and Wedding UK.

The Apprentice will join a team of three and have the following responsibilities.

·         Helping to create promotional material

·         Helping to create blogs and articles

·         Keeping social media platforms up-to-date

·         Helping to design and write copy for e-marketing campaigns

·         Helping to create engaging video content

·         Keep constant communication with clients, press and media

·         Web marketing including SEO & PPC, copywriting, social media management

The role is perfect for an individual interested in fashion, blogging and social media.  Full training will be given.

Weekly Wage:

£192.00

Working Week:

10am to 7pm

Tuesday to Saturday

The Apprentice will be working closely with Sanyukta Shrestha a highly sought after multi-award-winning designer of bridal and evening wear.   Sanyukta has featured in leading magazines such as Conde Nast Brides, Wedding UK, Vogue Sposa, Perfect Wedding, You & Your Wedding as well as on Fashion TV. One of her recent creations has also been preserved in the prestigious Fashion Museum in Bath.

Sanyukta Shrestha’s collections are available in exclusive bridal boutiques in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, and her flagship store ‘Behuli’ situated in the inner London district of Fulham.

Sanyukta has received several prestigious international awards and has been highly praised by worldwide media for her commitment towards a sustainable approach and her vintage inspired designs.

Prior to moving to the UK Sanyukta established a high-profile career in Nepal as a fashion designer for organisations, such as Miss World, Miss Universe and Indian Idol.

Skills required:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Ideally experience in video and the creation of promotional materials
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience of Photoshop and Flash
  • Experience or an interest in learning how to create video blogs and animations
  • Punctuality
  • Organised and can manage time well
  • User of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter)

Personal Qualities:

  •  Must be a creative writer
  •  Friendly and sociable nature and enjoy working with others as well as on their own
  • Good time keeper yet flexible with working hours
  • A keen and active interest in digital and social media
  • Willing to work as a team to get the job done
  • Open to sharing creative ideas
  • An interest in fashion design would be good but is not essential

Qualifications Required:

Minimum qualifications are English, Maths and ICT GSCE’s level A-C or equivalent.  Graduates can apply but a degree not necessary nor will it give you an advantage. Common sense, a good attitude and a strong application are what we are looking for.

Important Other information:

You will be joining a small team and will be given the opportunity to get involved in different aspects of the business.

Reality Check:

Our ideal candidate is someone who loves social media, is able to pick things up quickly, and is not afraid to ask questions and put forward ideas on how we can improve our digital media platforms.

About the training:

In addition to crucial ‘on the job training’ you will be working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing, which is the equivalent of 2-A Levels.  Topics you will cover include:

  • Principles of Marketing
  • Email marketing
  • Web development
  • Developing a content marketing strategy
  • Principles of social media within a business
  • Brand development
  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Measuring and capturing analytics

Project management
