About the Apprenticeship :

This apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity for a junior level administrator to put their organisational and excellent communication skills into practice.

As our Office Assistant Apprentice, you will gain training and experience in business administration and get an insight into how Goldens Solicitors is managed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming guests as they arrive at our office
  • Respond to emails
  • General administration: producing office documents, photocopying, typing, filing and dealing with the mail.
  • Order stationery and office supplies
  • Answer the phone and take messages
  • You will be required to occasionally open the office

Weekly Wage:

£192.50/ week

Working Week:

Monday to Friday

9:30am to 5:30pm (35 hours/week with 1 hour lunch).

Qualifications Required:

GCSE, Maths English, and ICT at grades A-C or equivalent.

Candidates with a degree can also apply.  However, a degree is not mandatory so if you don’t have one don’t be put off from applying!

Applicants must be fully committed and ready to complete the apprenticeship programme.

Reality Check:

The role will be office based and will involve office duties as well as desk based tasks in front of a computer.

About the training:

You will be working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.  In addition to crucial ‘on the job training’ depending on the qualification selected you may also study the following units:

  • Principles of Business
  • Analyse and present business data
  • Principles of Project Management
  • Managing Information and Producing Documents in a Business
  • Monitor Information systems
  • Principles of Administration
