About the Apprenticeship :

You will attend department meetings and take notes detailing action points, help develop a new talent database of emerging talent in the industry, as well as maintaining processes that helps the department to run efficiently.
The above is a summary of your role. You will be involved in several other administrative tasks.
To do this job effectively, you will have had some experience in an office or a production company. You will have a passion for film and TV and watch a range of content and be enthusiastic about non-scripted development with an ambition to work within it.

Weekly Wage:

£10.85 p/h

Working Week:

10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required when we are in productions.

Future prospects description:

Upon completion of the Apprenticeship and evaluation by the company’s supervisors, the successful candidate may be offered a job at the end of the Apprenticeship.

Skills required:

Our ideal candidate has good organisation and administration skills. These could have been developed through work or volunteer opportunities or during your studies.
You will be punctual, willing to learn, have a good work ethic, be a good team player, a multi-tasker, and be confident in your communication, whether verbal or written.
You take pride in your work and like to see a project or task through from start to finish. You are not afraid to ask questions, and at the same time, can suggest solutions to problems that may arise. Above all you will be flexible with a can-do attitude.
You will be an active user of social media and come up with creative ideas to engage our followers. Motivation, enthusiasm and curiosity are qualities that will serve
you well in this placement.
Good experience of Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint, as well as editing programs such as Premier Pro and Photoshop is desirable.

About the training:

Employability support will be provided by DiVA. You will attend seven workshops over the course of your placement. They will happen the last Wednesday of the month. They will be held virtually.

  • Introduction to the Creative Industries
  • Personal Branding: How to build and manage your personal brand at work and online
  • How to build and Network effectively
  • Money management: How to establish a side hustle and work as freelancer
  • Prove Your Passion on Paper: CV Writing
  • Prove Your Passion in Person: Interview skills

Workshops last three hours and contain a mix of taught session and masterclasses with industry guests.
