About the Apprenticeship :

In this role, you will provide assistance to the scripted team, taking on duties that include general office and remote administrations, research and development/production support where possible. You will log and track all submission, read script and provide summaries, put together mood board presentations for pitches, identify new talent, respond to general scripted enquiries received, and assist if needed on production. You will attend department meeting and take notes detailing action points, help develop a new talent database of emerging talent in the industry, as well as maintaining process that helps the department to run efficiently. The above is a summary of your role. You will be involved in several other administrative tasks. To do this job effectively, you will have had some experience in an office or a production company. You will have a passion for film and TV, watch a range of content and be enthusiastic about scripted development with an ambition to work within it.

Weekly Wage:

£10.85 p/h

Working Week:

5hrs per day, 5 Days per week or 3 full days per week (tbc) Flexibility will be required especially when we are in production.

Future prospects description:

Upon completion of the Apprenticeship and evaluation by the company’s supervisors, the successful candidate may be offered a job at the end of the Apprenticeship.

Skills required:

You will be confident writing emails of a professional and friendly nature, paying attention to your spelling and punctuation. You are someone who takes pride in their work, likes to keep themselves organised through using a ‘to-do list’ or other tools to stay on top of your tasks. We expect you to be on time for work, be able to use Word and Excel and be open to learning new software and processes.

The role is perfectly suited for someone who is looking develop their administration skills and may want to build a career in recruitment or a talent development role.

About the training:

Employability support will be provided by DiVA. You will attend seven workshops over the course of your placement. They will happen the last Wednesday of the month. They will be held virtually.

Workshops last three hours and contain a mix of taught session and masterclasses with industry guests.
