About the Apprenticeship :

Support the Human Resources team with capturing and broadcasting the Sony Music culture.

Responsibilities

• Create and design print and digital materials, within creative expression guidelines to be used on a range of platforms
• Create brand positioning that help us to market HR initiatives to both internal and external audiences
• Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
• Retouch and manipulate images for use across special projects
• Track metrics of success for offline and online campaigns
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop design concepts
• Deliver projects against agreed specifications and milestones

Weekly Wage:

£20,600 per annum

Working Week:

Monday-Friday (9:30am – 6:00pm) (Friday – 9:30am-5:30pm)

Future prospects description:

Upon completion of the Apprenticeship and evaluation by the company’s supervisors, the successful candidate may be offered a job at the end of the Apprenticeship.

Skills required:

• Graphic Design major preferred
• Moving image experience
• Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, colour, and other graphic design fundamentals
• Passion for copy writing and language
• Experience with InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong creative and analytical skills
• Compelling portfolio of graphic design work

Qualifications Required:

Minimum qualifications are English, Maths and ICT GSCE’s level A-C or equivalent.

About the training:

In addition to crucial ‘on the job training’ you will be working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Junior Content Producer, which is the equivalent of 2-A Levels. Topics you will cover include:

• Media content creation
• Communication and presentation skills
• Industry awareness in the creative and digital sector
• Respond to a Media Content Brief
• Shooting Capturing, Editing and Storing Media Content
• Social Media Campaign Execution
