About the Apprenticeship :
Joining Kobalt’s Music Synchronisation division in London, the Synch Assistant (intern) will provide general administrative support to the team.
The team is responsible for marketing and licensing the use of Kobalt’s clients compositions in advertising, Film, TV, Video Games and lyrics and this role will assist in sending those licences to external parties as well as other ad-hoc admin tasks & projects, including sending out licensing requests, pitching music to our partners and helping to organise and tag music with the music librarian.
Key responsibilities include: assisting the Synch team with licensing administration by entering synch requests & client approvals, and issuing licences and requests for payments, maintaining the synch contact database, assisting with creation of email promotion and compiling audio and assisting the team with ad-hoc office duties, including organising meetings, showcases and general marketing of the catalogue.
National Minimum Wage
10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday. 25 hours a Week
Future prospects description:
Upon completion of the Apprenticeship and evaluation by the company’s supervisors, the successful candidate may be offered a job at the end of the Apprenticeship.

- A passion for music and creativity, whilst being organised with strong attention to detail
- Good numeracy and basic IT skills are also a requirement for the role.
There are no formal qualifications for this role.

To be eligible for the scheme, you must be:
- aged 16-24
- in receipt of Universal Credit.
If you do not meet all of the criteria listed above, you are not eligible for the Kickstart Scheme.

About the training:
Employability support will be provided by DiVA. You will attend seven workshops over the course of your placement. They will happen the last Wednesday of the month. They will be held virtually.
